Lindsey and Spencer, Episode One

So I meet Lindsey and Spencer down at a very frigid Utah Lake State Park last week for a sweet, tender date video production...PFFFT!! Who knew such a sweet country girl could be so deadly accurate with a snowball, and to top it all off--pull a vintage Jedi move just for good measure?! 

The force is strong with these two....umm...ok, just one. I sense much fear in Spencer ;-)

Mark and Karly Jo at the Capitol...

Here's a little bit of extra footage from the bride/groom shoot at the state capitol. I was mostly assisting Lannie, but given such a spectacular setting, I just couldn't resist grabbing the camcorder and steadicam and filming a little, just for the fun of it. :)

Hello 2009...it's good to be back!

Happy New Year everyone! The studio has been closed for 3 weeks and it's good to be back. We took a much needed family vacation to Palm Springs, CA. and had such a great time. We lived there for 4 years, so it was nice to go back and see old friends, not to mention the 70 degree weather! It was great to spend quality time with our family without the nagging feeling of "you have so much to get done in Photoshop, get to your computer NOW"! It was truly refreshing!

I also had time to reflect on 2008 and what a wonderful and blessed year it was for my family. I Love photography and am very passionate about it. I truly feel blessed to be following my dream. Thanks Barlow for your love and support. How can it get any better than to run your own business with the person you love most in this world, not to mention he's the most creative and talented person I know!

Wes and Dana

Tubin' and snowball fights! What could be more romantic? We had a blast shooting this date video three days before their wedding at Sundance. It was a bit of a thrill to see it on the big screen at the Sundance screening room in front of a packed house.
